These are a set of 15 Triumph Engine Plate Studs in Stainless Steel. They were made for a rigid 1952 T100, they will also fit the 5T and 6T. The cycle threads have the correct 60 degree angle; and the nuts the correct original spanner size across the flats, 30 rectangular section stainless lock washers are included. This set includes the two gearbox studs.
The studs have slightly domed ends the same as the originals, each flat of the hexagon nuts has been hand finished to leave a bright surface rather than the dull finish normally found on hex bar. All studs and nuts are semi polished so they can easily be polished to a mirror finish or bead blasted to give that original cadmium look.
The Triumph part numbers for these studs are , F839, F994, F1680, F1681, F1711, F2414, T430, T456. The bolt in the original part number has been replaced by a suitable length stud as a bolt of the length required would cost far too much to make.
There are several 7/16 and an 1/2 stud in this set so they are heavy and this is reflected in the postage cost.
Please note all stainless parts should be assembled with copa slip (copper slip), which we also list on this site.
All British thread data can be viewed on our web site. Any queries please phone Motalia on 01953 789420 office hours.
