Laverda Jota Side Panel R/H 180's Series1 and 2. 61706054

This is a Right Hand side panels for the late Jota 180 series 1 and 2. They look identical to the originals and are pre drilled for the badges, we advise you to enlarge the holes to suit the badges you are fitting. They are finished in primer and will need painting. They are a direct replacement for the later models. The internal pegs are integral to the panel and not stuck on after the panel was made, this ensures that they are a perfect fit to the rubber in the frame. NOTE: These only have 2 internal pegs
and the front peg is replaced by a hole. These were fitted on the right hand side on some of the 1980 series1 Jota's and on the series 2 Jota's both sides had the hole at the front. The front peg was replaced with a bolt and a countersunk washer, the bolt on the series 2 went into a nut fitted to the frame inside the hole that would normally contain the retaining grommet, Some of the 1980 models had an alloy cotton reel that pushed tight into the front grommet and had a threaded hole for the bolt.
The idea for this was to stop the panels blowing off that they tended to do.
